To the Bone August 6, 2021 My quest for the lowest common denominator continues when it comes to simplifying this website. I've cut out all CSS and gone with only the most basic HTML formatting. I did this for two reasons: the first being that I actually like the starkness of the results--it reminds me of the web in its earliest days[1]; the second being that I'd like to put the focus of this site squarely on the content, on the words, rather than how fancy the page looks. If you're here, reading this, I hope you've come to learn a little more about me or my writing or my thoughts and not to see my skill (or lack thereof) in web design. But did I go too far? Is this page unreadable? Does it look as if I don't care about my website? Feel free to email me and tell me what you think.
